iTunes saw a battle of epic proportions yesterday as Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, and Kanye West all clamored for the number one spot with their respective newly released singles. But even as Avril and Kanye traded positions on the chart, Britney held on to her dominating lead at #1. In response to this, Kanye playfully tweeted, “Yo Britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time!” But instead of laughing, the media got their panties in a bunch and started accusing Kanye of going back to his douchebaggy ways. (Because apparently when Kanye makes a Kanye joke it isn't funny.) Notably without her panties in a bunch was Avril who got in on the fun by saying, "Yo @KanyeWest I'm really happy for U and I'mma lovin you at #2, and @BritneySpears at #1, but What The Hell all the way!

But in the meantime, Avril's former guitar player Evan Taubenfeld and current keyboardist Steve Ferlazzo have told a Brazilian Avril fansite what their favorite tunes off Avril's new record are.
